We have been away this week and it has been a ton of togetherness. Lots of excursions during the day and wine on the porch at night. Summer is here and it is good.
We were able to spend the fourth with friends and family. Time flew and as I look back over the day, it was one of the best. It was less about the perfect red, white and blue outfits and more about the time, the memories and the fireworks!!!
I usually mark the 4th as a halfway point of the summer. This year I am not even going to do it. I plan to savor the time we have and soak up every.last.bit.of.it.
Happy 60th Anniversary to my Mother and Father In Law!
