Annnddddd hello Tuesday! Side note! I don’t no Annnddddd hello Tuesday! Side note! I don’t not have that much grey hair I have no idea why this filter does that to me: 🤣

Today I learned that tomato’s don’t germinate for 72 dayzzzz guys! 72 dayzzzzz a lot of my dahlia cuttings died and my flower seeds? Yeah. Disaster.

Kind of wanted to quit everything today but I have 9 raised beds in my yard that will look like crap if I do. Soooooo onward. And why would I want to show my kids when the going gets tough I quit!

So up up and away! AND I am going to start another inflammation buster challenge! If you have been wondering how in the world I said goodbye to 33 inches?

Join us next week! I am diving back in to show you how! Best part? Not happy with our plant based supplements? Money back. 🌱
“Sell so many things your kids are concerned the “Sell so many things your kids are concerned they are next!” - Dave Ramsey.

That’s what we did this weekend. Out with the old and we are breathing in space! Listed and sold half our living room and it feels good! 🤣.

There are so many projects and ideas swirling around in our minds but the fact is they don’t all work in the time frame we wish they would. Just like this hyacinth didn’t bloom when I wanted it too. AND I gave up on 5 of its friends.

The process, refrigerate for 2 weeks and then wait. Just enough water. Wait. Yeah, I was pretty sure they all were 👎🏻. But this one? We are 7 weeks into the process here and she is peeking out.

Fact is not everything works the way we want it too: sometimes the growth is in the waiting. In this case 100% 💞

Happy Monday!
Saturday. Uneventful yet filled with accomplishme Saturday.
Uneventful yet filled with accomplishment. It started off with rain and it ended with it.

But today? Today I made my first perfect loaf of #glutenfree sourdough bread! I am 2.5 months into this journey and you probably thought I gave up! Or frankly don’t care....... but today?! Today something extra special happened! That loaf rose and came out of the oven with crisp crust and spongy center!

You guys! It is soooooo good! So good!

This process has been so frustrating but it has challenged me to stay the coarse: keep trying. Keep feeding that started. Keep looking for a new technique because you too will have a day like today! The perfect loaf.

And now that we have eaten the whole loaf and started one for tomorrow sitting here researching flowers next to a sleeping big boy and our @the_grace_effect candles is icing on the cake.

I hope you all are feeling the goodness of getting closer to where you are going this spring. ❤️. Isn’t it the best feeling.
Well goodbye 46! What a year you were. In a mill Well goodbye 46! What a year you were. In a million years I didnt think we would be home together for 365 days a year ago today..... yet here we are! One year stronger, and wiser.

What have I learned in 46 years? A LOT! Here is a few!

Don’t sweat the small stuff. (Read that 4 times)

It’s hard to go to dinner when you are a big family during covid. Thanks to the Roadhouse for seating us together!

Who cares if your house isn’t the cleanest in the block, question is did you actually enjoy your day?!

Your kids grow up. They do. And they leave home, and it is hard to imagine but it happens.

Time is really all we have and even tho 2020 was a pain in the “you know what” it gave us a lot of time. Time to think, to work things out, to rest, and to re-evaluate.

Highlights hide grey hair 🙌🏻

When you get older you appreciate babies and toddlers even more because you can’t believe your kids are grown.

It’s ok to change your mind.

It’s ok to move 😜

It’s ok say goodbye to some and hello to others.

When someone shows you who they are? Remember.

It’s so ok to fail and it is ok to succeed.

Moving 30 mins a day changes and improves your perception on life.

You can reinvent yourself at 30 and 40 and 50 and 60!!! You can do what ever you want to do.

Crying is ok. The older I get the more emotional I get and as much as I don’t like it, it is part of who I am and so might as well lean into it.

You can screw up everything, every day but a “I love you” at the end of the day? Fixes it.

Family is hard but it is really everything at the end of day.

Sooooooo up up and away! 47 I am coming for you! So much to do and so little time to get it done. ❤️. So excited and feel blessed I have another year.

Thank you so much to all of you who wished me a good day. I feel so blessed to have all of you in our life!

Missed Pat tonight but he is working hard at the Stray Dog!
I used to wake up every morning telling myself, “just get going because every step you are closer to being able to come back to bed”. Relate?

I woke up wishing I could go back to bed? So grateful it has been over 4 years since I had those thoughts. Who knew it was something that could be corrected, now when I go to bed at night I am actually excited for the morning to come! The hot cup of coffee, the sunrise and the quiet.

Imbalance is a real thing.

And this porch?! It’s my favorite place on earth. ❤️
One year later! One year after our first soft lau One year later! One year after our first soft launch of @the_grace_effect and here we are! In 365 days we grew out of our kitchen, then we grew out of an office in Florida and now we have grown out of this little studio here at our family cottage.

This weekend we are starting on the renovation of the garage next door to this little room! Growing pains are so good and so full of gratitude when you are throwing out a little dream in the stratosphere.

So as I enter into my 27 (oops I mean 47th year) We will paint the inside of our garage and rebuild a work table and some shelves as our electrician installs AC and heat!!! 🙌🏻 And we will run toward the next 365 days around the sun starting this Friday!

I never knew this was the plan, candles. I never knew we could do it, build alittle corner of the internet for our girl and others who might find employment difficult, but we can and we are and it is all because of you amazing people believing in us! Thank you for Believing it is possible!

#togetherwerise
We are celebrating all things spring this weekend! We are celebrating all things spring this weekend!!!! Yep! 15% off all our 16oz candles 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 code spring and 6.00 shipping no matter how many candles you order. We just love you guys! 🌸
Flannel + wool socks all day long! Ok question fo Flannel + wool socks all day long! Ok question for you all!!!! Who cooks with copper pots?

You guys I have wanted to try them for years! For yearsss but never felt I deserved too because a/ they are expensive and b/ they are expensive 🤣

So recently I found some pots on market place and my parents picked them up for me since they were in their town and YOU guys! I love them so much. They make cooking so much more fun. Sooooo I am looking to add to the collection. I am super sensitive to metals leaching is I have to figure out how I will more forward but I want more!!!

I want more! Who is with me?! Love them or hate them?
And a very good morning from our Michigan spring. And a very good morning from our Michigan spring.

It was so beautiful earlier this week but all good! Because this gives us all the excuse to light a fire and make a stew for dinner. I am 100% ok with it.

But soooooo glad I resisted the urge to move some of my plants outside 😳

We asked Grace yesterday, “what’s your favorite beach or snow”. The girl still says snow. Snow! So she is going to be thrilled when she sees this, when she wakes up. ❤️

Anyone else snow over beach?
